Agganis Arena is a multi-use arena owned and operated by Boston University. It is used for BU hockey games and some BU basketball games and also plays host to concerts and other events that require a mid-sized venue, including professional wrestling shows. The arena is named after Harry Agganis, a football and baseball star for Boston University and later the Boston Red Sox. Agganis Arena also played host to the inauguration of Boston University's tenth president, Robert Brown, on April 27, 2006.
